Hey friends! Our next run will be this Thursday April 23 at 6:30 pm. We will meet at Foster Park in Pavilion #1 (the bigger one). We will spend just a couple minutes talking about the situation in DRC and pray. Then we'll get into a couple of groups based on running vs. walking and head out for a few miles. It is supposed to be beautiful by Thursday so it will be a great time to outside!
As before, if you know of anyone that would like to join us, feel free to bring them along! Also, I am trying to get an actual calender up on this blog so you can look ahead to the whole month, but as I've said before, I am still learning how to do this whole 'blog' thing! In the meantime, you can look forward to Thursday and also to next Wednesday for an opportunity to get together and watch the film "Sometimes in April." (Its about the genocide in Rwanda that has continued to affect the people of DRC).

Thanks to everyone who has already signed up to run/walk for DRC! I am looking forward to getting together with all of you soon. Our first run together will be this Saturday, April 18th. However, this is also a GO Day through FMC and a day to serve in the Fort Wayne community. If you were already planning to participate in this GO Day, please don't change your plans! Although we are going to be running at 8 am, so you could still meet up with a group to serve when we finish.
Remember to be inviting your friends and family to join us! If you are wanting to join the club, you can print the sign up sheet from this blog (in the left hand links section) and mail it to FMC (2536 E Tillman Rd Fort Wayne,, IN 46816) with your check ($40/person, $70/couple).
